As per WHO report, India has a long way to go in providing public health & community services around the world. Poverty, illiteracy & poor hygiene has been the roadblocks in providingadequate health care services to the economically backward sections of the society in India.

Share Your Care as part of its mission to serve societies & communities better, conducts the following camps on a mass level as mentioned below: –

1. Barasana Eye & Dental Camp

Barsana Eye Camp

As a part of Share Your Care’s dedicated efforts to eradicate needless blindless & to provide dental care we conduct free annualcamp in the month of January/February every year in Barsana, Mathura District, UP since 1992. The people residing in more that 120 villages face extreme poverty & lack access to basic healthcare facilities.

We screen over 2500 patients for cataract & around 2000 patients for dental care during the camp. There has been a steady increase in the number of patients needing such care over the years.

Considering the maginitude of blidness we have started a permanant facility with two ophtamalohgists and paramedical staff. We screen approxomately 12000 patients in a year and operate 1800 patients. During the dental camp we serve about 2000 needy patients including extraction, cleaning, filling & providing free dentures.

2. Pandharpur Medical Camp

Barsana Eye Camp

Pandharpur Medical Camp is an annual event conducted by Share Your Care. It provides services to the pilgrims every year who walk long distances bare foot for many days to take the blessings of the Lord, we conduct annual Pandharpur Medical Camp during Ashadhi Ekadashi for the same. We screen over 75,000 patients every year and they are offered free medical services apart from free food during the camp. General medical check up is conducted and pilgrims are treated for various injuries, fever, eye infections & other gastro intestinal problems during the same. The Share Your Care team includes 300 medical & paramedical staff which participate in the camp enthusiastically.

3. Outreach Healthcare Camps

Share Your Care conducts over 200 health camps in various rural/tribal areas across India. The outreach camps are regularly conducted in and around Mumbai, Thane, Interior Maharashtra, Mathura and Nadia district in West Bengal. We screen approximately 50,000 persons and treatment is provided to 10,000 persons which includes medicines, surgery, food and travel expenses. The healthcare camps include Eye care, Cancer care, Cardiac care, Dental care and general health care for the general public including children, women and senior citizens.

Senior Citizens Camps

As per recent reports geriatric population in India who are above 50 years of age is expected to touch to 10% by 2030 and India would be the only second country after China to have the world'd largest geriatric poulation around the world. Moreover, they face economic, medical & emotional issues as well.

General medical problems in geriatric population include: –

  • • Brochial asthama

  • • Urinary Track Infection (UTI)

  • • Skin infections

  • • Insomnia

  • • Piles

  • • Hernia

  • • Fissure

Share Your Care conducts various of these camps with the main objective to enhance the quality of the life of senior citizens by providing preventive, curative & rehabilitative services which would result in higher life expectacy of the patient. Every senior citizen is treated with tremendous care & respect which enhances their comfort level & helps in building a long term relationship with us.

We screen approximately 10,000 patients on an annual basis & the camps are held at various locations accross Maharashtra.

Municipal School Camps

Municipal School Camp

As per WHO report, India still needs to focus on in provision of quality healthcare to children. Poor hygiene, low literacy, poverty and inequality has compounded the problem, posing a huge challenge in provision of adequate healthcare facilities to children in India.

Share Your Care has been conducting health checkup camps in Municipal Schools in Mumbai & Thane regions. We have screened over 12,000 children annually. The study reveals that 51% of the children need health care support. Common health problems found in children are : –

  • • Upper Respiratory Infection (URI)

  • • ENT disorders

  • • Eye & refractive disorders

  • • Skin & fungal infections

  • • Malnutrition

  • • Dental infections

We try to identify disorders/diseases early in children & offer them preventive & curative remedies in a holistic manner. We conduct education & awareness programs for children for their imroved health and hygiene for the same.

Corporate Camps

As per reports from George Institute Of Global Health (GIGH), 40% of Indian executives & workers face stress related disorders in India and those include anxiety, depression, hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular problems, lifestyle related & many more. Inorder to address the issues of corporate India Share Your Care conducts the following activities for the same: –
