Share Your Care is a recognized U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of those in need in India, the U.S., and across the globe. By partnering with NGOs (Non-governmental Organizations) worldwide, we support grassroots access to essential healthcare, education, meals and clean water, skills training, sustainable rural development, and the hope for a better future.

For more than 20 years Share Your Care has partnered with NGOs providing on-the-ground healthcare and treatments to those in need. We have partnered with Sri Chaitanya Heath and Care Trust (India) as well as other NGOs to help support the establishment and operations of hospitals, health camps, and mobile clinics that treat the underprivileged in society.
Share Your Care helps support eye care programs through Bhaktivedanta Hospital in Maharashtra, Barsana Eye Camp in Utter Pradesh and other rural clinics and medical camps to more than 12,000 villagers annually across India. A large number of these individuals suffer from poor quality of life due to cataracts. Besides cataracts, eye problems related to eye infections, cornea, and retina are also treated.
Kidney and cancer care programs are also supported by Share Your Care. Specifically, at Bhaktivedanta Hospital we helped establish a fully functional dialysis center with 12 dialysis machines supporting underprivileged patients from all walks of life and socio-economic backgrounds. Through our continued support Bhaktivedanta Hospital also provides more than 400 cancer surgeries or treatments annually.
Through our partnerships, we also help support caregiver courses to help mitigate the lack of skilled caregivers taking care of patients, the elderly, and sick family members at home. Share Your Care supports palliative hospice care through contributions to Bhaktivedanta Hospice in Vrindavan, India. In rural India, when people suffer from a terminal condition, they may not have proper care or family to look after them. The team at Bhaktivedanta Hospice identifies such people and provides them with care, and compassion and ensures that their last days are dignified.
Share Your Care also provides support for pediatric initiatives addressing the issue of malnutrition, antenatal and postnatal healthcare, and general pediatric care in Maharashtra.
Our support has been instrumental in curtailing the infant mortality rate in several rural areas surrounding Mumbai.
Share Your Care partners with various NGOs, including Govardhan Rural Development (India), to provide education to children who otherwise would not have access to quality basic education. Rural or underprivileged education facilities often lack the basic minimum facilities to provide for their local children. Much of our support in education goes to rural villages in India where children are provided basic education in language & reading, science, and math, as well as life skills such as critical & creative thinking through problem-solving, interpersonal communication & behavior, as well as yoga.
Through our support, Govardhan Rural Development has made a tremendous impact on the lives of so many children. One specific initiative, named Vidyavaan, provides before and after school programs for children ages 6 to 14, or school dropouts of any age, focused on life skills and basic skills development as well as supplemental, math, science, and language help.
Partnering with NGOs like Govardhan Rural Development to provide quality education to underprivileged children in rural India.
Supporting programs that teach language, math, science, life skills, critical thinking, and yoga.
To date more than 50 schools have been reached, more than 1,000 sessions conducted, and over 9,000 students benefited by educational support projects.
Share Your Care supports other food relief initiatives globally including in incidents of natural disasters and war.
Malnutrition rages rampant in poor and underprivileged communities globally and is one of the leading causes of child mortality. Our partner, Annamrita Foundation in India, works with the Government of India’s Midday Meals program to feed over 1 million children daily for free. The meals program has created and supported education efforts, since poor children being provided nutritious meals can go to school instead of trying to find work to feed themselves. In addition to the Midday Meals program, we also support Annamrita Foundation projects to improve food security and undernourishment in poor communities, without any prejudice based on race, religion, or gender, through the delivery of nutritious meals throughout these local communities in need. Our support helps Annamrita Foundation continue its meal service daily and get closer to its goal of improving the health and well-being of the poor through nutritious meals.
Share Your Care has also partnered in the U.S. with several local Food for Life communities where free nutritious meals are offered to underprivileged school children, the homeless, and the needy population in inner cities throughout America.
Much of the rural poor population in India lives off of less than $1 day. Share Your Care partners with NGOs like Govardhan Rural Development and Govardhan Eco Village to support these villagers in need through sustainable programs and initiatives focused on empowering farmers, livelihood training & skills development, women’s empowerment, clean water technologies, and so much more.
Villagers who do not own land to farm are provided skills and livelihood training to promote the ability to support themselves and increase household income. Our contributions support programs for skills development as well as micro-finance and micro-entrepreneurship for non-farmer villagers. These programs have impacted over 250 families to date and increased household income by over 50%.
Share Your Care’s support of programs for village and household farmers is also well documented and has contributed to proven results. Our support of farm programs empowers farmers to convert challenges into opportunities. With a blend of organic and modern practices, the programs ensure farmers raise sufficient income that they would otherwise earn by migrating. This leads to improved quality of life for the farmers and their families. The farmer initiatives focus on agriculture layout, crop selection, livestock development, and linking farmers to the market.
We believe empowering women transforms villages. Share Your Care supports programs that follow an integrated model of women’s empowerment covering social, economic, financial, and health awareness programs. Through our support, the women’s empowerment programs combined with skills training or education are truly transformational. Our partners report that they have helped foster over 300 self-help groups, with over 3,000 women involved and over 12,000 family members impacted.
About 50% of the population in the Palghar district of Maharashtra has no or minimal water for irrigation in the post-monsoon season, thus leading to distressed migration. Through support of water resource development projects, specifically lift irrigation planning, execution and maintenance, clean drinking water, and water conservation, Share Your Care and its partners have positively impacted the lives of more than 5,000 villagers.
Please help us continue to impact the lives of so many in a positive way!
